In a surprise move, First Lady Melania Trump gave controversial conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom on President Donald Trump’s behalf during the president's annual State of the Union address. “Rush Limbaugh, thank you for your decades of tireless devotion to our country,” Trump said. Trump delivered his annual State of the Union address on Tuesday, Feb. 4. The speech came the day before he is expected to be acquitted of articles of impeachment in the Senate and a day after voting in the 2020 presidential nomination process kicked off in Iowa.
